My culinary philosophy is: “Keep it simple, embrace new flavors, relax and enjoy.” As an avid cook who truly appreciates a variety of beers including: home-brew, craft, import, specialty and even some old school domestic beer. It’s no wonder I have found ways to combine these passions. For me, beer provides the theme around which a meal is designed.
When cooking with beer, I employ the beers unique ingredients and brewing methods to enhance the flavor of a dish. I will be posting recipes that utilize craft beer in the development of a dish and pairing of a menu. Flavor, much like art, is subjective. I encourage my readers to experiment and alter these dishes to suit their own palates.
